Michelle and I recently finished our garage remodel. What was once a tired, dusty and underused space is now a studio & gallery:
We’re having our first show September 28th. It’s called ‘n0t f0r sale,’ and will feature period rock & roll posters from 1966-1970. We’re looking forward to it. Here are some samples of what will be on display:

I dug up, transplanted and gave away a bunch of black bamboo this weekend. Johnny Phyllostachys nigra. I will never tangle with bamboo without one of Doug King’s bamboo slammers which is a heavy-duty two-part pry bar with a sharp three edged blade at the bottom.
