Also liked "3-Iron by Kim Ki-Duk". Old pleasures which come to mind include "Rue Cases Negres", "The Gods Must be Crazy", "The Draghtsman's Contract". Best TV series available on DVD from the venerable Beeb "The Blue Planet" (simply superb) and "The Edge of Darkness" (good eighties thriller).
